History:-

In the beginning of eighteenth century a young beard man took shelter in the villege of Shirdi in Ahmednagar District. He was very calm and hardly spoke a word and no one knows from where he came. After few days villagers started offering food to that person but he never asked about anything to anyone. Initially he was called as fakir, but after seeing his special power of solvind the problems of poor, needy peoples he was called by the name Sai Baba.

Sai Baba also believed in uniformity of religion, and so he never distinguish anyone by Caste, Religion. There was a brahmin pious named Keshawa Rao and his wife in a villege Jambadevi under the state of Maharashtra, and both were devotees of Lord Venkateswara. this couple don't have there own child, they always pray to god to bless them with child. One night lord appeared in the dream of keshawa and told him that shortly one Ramanand Yogi of Kashi will be born as their son, and after this his wife became pregnant. Then his wife gave birth to a male child who was named Gopal Rao and imparted by several types of education.

Gopal was a person of tact, strength, patience and knowledge. Once he went to kopergaon and then to shirdi where he mate one child named Baba who was Saibaba, after getting familiar with his impacts he knows that Baba is not a normal person, and when he left that place Gopal build this temple.

Shirdi Temple has many related scared sites which has its own history like Dwarkamai  is a place where Baba use to stay and this place has saibaba's chulha and other things too, Chavani is a place where saibaba use to sit below Nim Tree whose one stem is sweet in test while other are bitter.

The dome of Shirdi Temple is not made up with gold which improves the beauty of this temple. Saibaba Temple has many other features too. Just near to temple there is one Prasadalay where devotees can eat complete food or we can say Prasad at very low cost and in a posh manner.
