Shree Sai temple of Shirdi is built over the Samadhi of  Sai Baba, which is at a distance of 298 km from Mumbai. This famous temple was built in 1922 to spread the services of Shri Sai Baba. Shirdi is a town comes under the municipal jurisdiction of Rahata Tahsil in Ahmednagar District under the state of Maharashtra. Sai Temple of Shirdi is one of the top religious sites of the world which is always crowded with devotees and religious tourists who travel to the holy land of Shri Saibaba. The Saibaba Temple is situated in the heart of city over a land of around 200 sq meters. The Temple is surrounded by many sacred sites related with Shri Saibaba like Khandoba Temple,Samadhi Mandir, Gurusthan, Dwarkamai, Chavadi and Lendi Gardens. In the beginning of eighteenth century a young beard man took shelter in the villege of Shirdi in Ahmednagar District. He was very calm and hardly spoke a word and no one knows from where he came. After few days villagers started offering food to that person but he never asked about anything to anyone. Initially he was called as fakir, but after seeing his special power of solvind the problems of poor, needy peoples he was called by the name Sai Baba.

People started realizing that he is not a ordinary, so many peoples visit this place to solve there problems. Sai Baba also believed in uniformity of religion, and so he never distinguish anyone by Caste, Religion. As every good things have to end somewhere, Sai Baba also left his body by his own on 15th october 1918. Then one samadhi mandir called "Booty" was built by laiding his body into that. Slowly that mandir was more developed by the devotees and now it is converted into a big and beautiful Sai Baba temple, with many other small temples nearby.

Most of the religious devotees and normal tourists use to visit Shirdi to take darshan of Sai Baba, and they came from all over the world, because many peoples realise the power of Sai Baba.
